Sometimes we just want a simple answer.  This website is a compilation of various things I find interesting and want to keep as a reference and share.  They will be based on my interpretation of the rules and regulations so feel free to comment with your opinions or corrections if you have any.

Origins of TheTaxTip

When I first started working in public accounting, I wrote for the firm's "Tax Tips" newsletter.  It was an enjoyable experience.  We could pick topics of interest or issues we worked on to write about.  I never forgot nor lost that passion.  So Neil, thank you for giving me the opportunities to write them.  The firm cancelled the newsletter a few years after I left.  Hence I decided to name my blog in honor of this memory.
